AML/CFT/CPF Index

The Total Perspective AML/CFT/CPF Index is an independent assessment of the risk of money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing and corruption around the world.

It is based on a range of data collected from public and private sources and incorporates the findings of some of the other key international indices as well as the sensitive countries lists of the EU and UK. It is designed to be a blended index, taking data from indices focussed on AML risk and blending them with indices focused on corruption to produce a single index balancing both factors so as to avoid the need to reference multiple indices when risk scoring. 

The index covers 209 countries, each being given a score and, unlike other indices, our assessment of whether dealing with that country should be regarded as low, medium, high or ultra-high risk.

For those based in Jersey, there is a separate Total Perspective AML/CFT/CPF Jersey Index which is adjusted to take account of the Jersey Financial Services Commission Appendix D1 and D2 list of higher risk countries.
